Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are your hours?
    Our hours change throughout the season based on availability of produce. Our most up to date hours are posted on our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/labrisafarm
  • Are you organic?
    We are not certified organic. However, we do not use synthetic herbicides or pesticides, and focus on practices to improve soil and ecosystem health.
  • When are different crops ready?
    Our produce availability changes throughout the year and depends on the growing conditions. In general, asparagus is the first crop ready from mid-April, followed by strawberries in late may and early June, then sweet corn in July and raspberries in August until first frost. A variety of other vegetables are offered throughout the season based on availability.
  • Do you offer u-pick?
    Yes, we offer u-pick strawberries and raspberries based on availability. Updates can be found on our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/labrisafarm
  • Do you offer bulk beef?
    Yes, we offer 1/4, 1/2 or whole beef when we schedule an animal for butcher.
  • Is your meat pasture raised?
    Yes, our beef cows are born and raised on farm and complete their lives all on pasture. Our chicken is started from their first week of life on pasture and moved to new pasture daily and supplemented with a complete ration. Our pork is also raised on pasture and are supplemented with milled grains.
  • Do you offer individual cuts of meat?
    Starting in spring of 2025 we will be offering pasture raised and finished beef for sale by the cut. We also offer whole chickens and will offer pork by the cut in the future.
